Also, there are plenty of procedures you would be denied in this country without the insurance or other means to pay for it. It happened to me once with an MRI. I got injured at a job I had, the company's own doctor made the appointment for me, and the clinic refused to give me the MRI because the worker's compensation carrier refused to pay for the procedure and I didn't have the money to pay for it myself.

And it won't be a pat on the back, "Well done..."

When voting, one votes for who they believe to be the better of two evils. I believe that to be Obama. If you want to only vote for that which is righteous and unoffensive to God....don't vote.

I wanted to have discussions on these issues without allowing prejudices from those conversations bleeding over into other conversations. For example Crakjack is a Universalist...I've seen his universalism attacked on threats unrelated to universalism to discredit points he was trying to make. So my thinking, as wacky as it was, was to keep one ID for each realm of topics. That didn't go so well...and I just happened to settle with this ID. I now see how silly the idea was, but hey...it seemed like a good idea while posting at 2am. LOL

Just felt I may owe you and others a little explanation, even if it is so silly I'm not embarrassed by the idea. God bless.
