BTW Hamas says it's stipulation and reason for the attacks are they want the borders open...so why aren't they bombing Egypt? Does Mexico bomb the US for trying (failed that it is) to protect our borders?

i want hamas dead, myself, PO; but i see that suppressing them without eradicating the cause for their existence is pointless. Also, to lift them up as a viable opponent to Israel's overwhelming force--which i deem to be usurped by the ptb, or 'satan'--strikes me as deliberately myopic. Excusable, perhaps, for the tragically uninformed, but i expect better from you guys. Hamas is a symptom; beneath mention as an 'enemy.' The enemy is satan, and he plays a larger game; one that he desires we become ensnared in. It amounts to not seeing the forest for the trees, and prolly more like not seeing a tree for the branch that is obscuring our view.

It just strikes me that this thread amounted to raging like the heathen, when we are called to feed and clothe; even Muslims. The answer to innocents being slaughtered (no one is innocent) is not to desire the slaughter of the slaughterer, but to stand with the innocents.

You would take even more land than the 90% the Palestinians have now lost? How is this any different than how the Jews were treated? (disregarding that this was apparently God's will) Many in Hamas may have a retribution of God coming; but many others may, also.

yes, i have a quote by Hitler saying exactly the same thing. That excuse will not stand. While i agree that most of the Jews i have met are moral enough, the same goes for most of the Muslims. please see that you are mixing nations with countries. I don't think Jews are terrorists--even the older, conservative ones i met were unsettled at all the land confiscation being conducted by their leaders. Israel is not the Jews; there are even non-Jews in the idf.

sure, definitely. For all the good it will do. It is to miss the point. Treat the Palestinians fairly, and hamas will go away. This is not advice for you (us) of course, but for those whose business it is. God plainly stated that Muslims exist to resist Jews; follow that to its conclusion.

For example. It's not enough to demand Israel open it's border to Gaza...it's closed to prevent Hamas militants and Palestinian suicide bombers from entering in

We are sternly warned against human government, in 1Sam8, and many other places, so none of this should be a surprise. what's so sad to me is contrasting the reality--the warmth and passion of both the Jews and the Muslims, as nations--which btw get along just fine with each other at street level--vs the twisted image jammed constantly down every throat on the planet, including theirs. I can't impress on you guys enough how similar returning to America--where they all strive to come--is to coming to a graveyard. And pass on the negative comments about loving my country or whatever, ok? I love my nation. still. speaking generally, prax, not to you.
