My husband got a $3,500 check in the mail a few months ago from Nigeria. It would have been really sweet had it been the real deal.....

I haven't seen one of the checks in my mailbox, but I get those emails all the time. I can't believe anyone would actually fall for one of those-- but there are lots of people who have.

Thanks for forwarding that to me earlier. The sooner things are reported, the sooner we can take care of them. Maybe they didn't get too far with their little project. I noticed that when I banned the ID, they had targeted MissBrat's profile. She was next on their list...

It would cash at your branch. When your bank tried to collect funds for the check they will not be there. You will be charged all sorts of fees, and possibly persecuted.. no.. prosecuted.
