Gene Scott is a hoot. His wife has taken over since his death. She's a bit of a character. You have to watch their musicians and praise singers. They all look like they are hypnotized.

Bro Hoover I have not read through your thread. I have not watched that episode either. Can you, in a nutshell share some fo the best testimonies from your experience?

A couple of times for me and both watching the same person. Rod Parsley. Once I was in a real dry time and he preached a message, "My Time To Get My Thing From My God." I saw him preach that and it jolted me out of my funk and into motion. The other time he was doing a healing service in Nashville and while praying for people he stopped look at the camera and said, " I claim healing over a broken tail bone." I had gotten a broken tail bone and it was painful. Since that day I have had not pain there. I believe God healed me. I believe in healing by faith but did not believe it could happen over the tv, but it happened.

A lady in our church who was raised Catholic was saved watching Kenneth Copeland on TV. She later came in to church and we baptized her and she was filled with the Holy Ghost. But KC got to her when she would NOT have attended a Spirit filled church.

Our TV ministry brought MANY people into our church who now have changed lives and are on fire for the Lord.

Sure. I will repost a few news items from the Wife Swap thread.

Here is one.

So a seven year old is watching cartoons, changes channels and sees the Hoover/Meeks families on TV.

He says "Mom, are these the people that live close to uncle's house?"

Mom says "yes!" and watches the show.

After the show she writes Kristin a letter, saying she wants more of God, "Can you help me?"

Kristin begins prayer and bible study with her twice weekly.

Today "Mom" was water baptised and recieved the baptism of the Holy Spirit!

Another post from a few months ago...

Daily we are getting feedback from viewers by e-mail, phone, letters, even flowers from the local community, and face to face personal contact with hundreds in our realm of influence. 99% of the feedback is positive, and we are sharing our faith.

Two people in our assembly have stated they were compelled to come back to church because they saw the show. Both had been absent in recent weeks.

Thanks to the show, today my wife had a personal bible study (and more to come) in our home.

Also, today I had a Highway Patrolman (whom I don't know) come up to me in a restaurant and thank me for being a witness and standing strong for my faith on the show.

Also, today I had personal discussions about God with four other people - two were strangers.

Tonight, Pentecost Sunday, we were able to share
our testimony at an Assembly Of God church, and are thankful that God poured out his Spirit again!

Several came to us saying they had
not spoken in tongues for years, but the power of God
moved tonight and they were refilled.

Another lady received the baptism of the Spirit for
the first time tonight. Hallelujah!

We have also been amazed at the hunger for holiness
that people have expressed since the show.

I encourage you to be bold in the Spirit, the world
is looking for a strong witness in these last days.

"I realized God loved Tony so much He was even willing to work through a television show. He would move heaven and earth to reach one who had lost his way. Tears flowed as I shared God’s amazing love, and the promise of the Holy Ghost to our generation."

Suddenly, an excited Tony and Ed motioned me to them. “You’ll never believe this, Kristin!” they almost said in unison.

“I was just talking with Ed about letting God back into my life, when we both looked down and saw this,” Tony exclaimed. They both pointed to a shiny glimmer of something they found sticking out of the dirt. It was a small charm—in the shape of a cross! This was just too incredible to be a coincidence. We all felt the moment was divinely orchestrated.

Back in the car, after a long silence, I asked Tony if he would lead us in song. He started to sing, “Softly and tenderly Jesus is calling . . . calling oh sinner, come home,” and “I have decided to follow Jesus . . . no turning back!” The Spirit of God filled the car so strongly and we became emotional in His presence. No doubt, even the crew member, in the back seat listening, must have been affected.
