Some pretty good ideas!
The UPCI could come out with a organizational Visa/MC credit card. They could use the interest commission to help underwrite GC.

How about different levels of registration.
level 1: $25 Garden variety registration, you get a plastic name badge and a seat in the auditorium.
Level 2 $100 Premium registration, you get brass tone name badge and a seat in the lower level.
Level 3 $500 Bronze registration, you get a solid brass name badge and a seat up front in the center section, between rows 25 and 50
Level 4 $1000 Silver registration, Silver name badge, the right to walk down the red carpeted concourse to your seat in rows 1 through 25.
Level 5 $10000 Gold registration, Gold name badge, escorted by a general board member down the red carpeted concourse to your seat on the platform, a complimemtary orchid corsage and dinner for two at Six tables in south Tampa
Level 6 $100000 Platinum registration, Diamond encrusted gold name badge, carried by four executive board members down the red carpeted concourse to the platform in a leather recliner while the the band plays "Pomp and circumstance" all while orchid petals are sprinkled in front of your path. Upon arriving to your place of honour to the right of the podium your are hand fed imported belgain chocolates from a platinum serving chalise.

Hold the conference each year in St. Louis.
- cut down on hotel expenses as officials and workers live there
- cut down on shipping expenses of literature, books, sets, etc.
- centrally located for more to attend
Going to the people (different locations each year) is a novel idea, but makes more sense for the people to come to them (WEC).
