Blah, blah, blah, blah.

What a simpleton statement.

I suppose everyone who violates any of the "stongly disapproved of" issues needs to do the same? That would leave about two people from Kansas left in the UPC.

I'll tell you what! I happen to know a large group of young men who will not let the truth die off, so you will die waiting for those who stand for holiness to die off. God is raising up men with integrity who will not stand for anything less, no matter what anyone thinks.

I haven't heard anyone say they would leave if it did not pass. I think everyone knows that due to the emergence of technology they will be able to be on soon anyways without going against the manual.

If it fails this year it is only avoiding the inevitable for a short time.

Will you go ahead and start advertising anyway?
Will there be another "Resolution Run" at a future GC?
Will you leave the Org?
Will you back away and just let it go, allowing that the Org is settled in NOT having tv as a viable means of evangelizing?

and lastly..........................

Will you get rid of the TV you have ready and waiting for a passed resolution?
Just for the record, not all those hoping for Res. 4 to pass have television. I know many who are wanting this resolution to pass and they (including ourselves) have never had television and probably never will.

I haven't met anyone under, say, 30 who actually understand/agrees with all the standards...

I'd be interested in meeting these "young men" who think pants are evil and advertising on TV is different than broadcasting 24/7 via the Internet, etc., etc., etc....

You should get out more. Every great preacher I can think of that has a great revival church is strong on standards, strong against tv and loves souls.

Now I do have to say in all fairness that there are many who write in that they disagree with this and then sign it. So we can't be calling everyone a liar.

And also, the Manual does NOT Prohibit Video watching of wholesome entertainment. And since it does NOT define WHOLESOME, this is left to the minister's discretion.

Large, I doubt it.

Something tells me that you would not know what holiness was if it bit you on your backside.

Hello...if they ask you a question and you answer no, and you have one ummm that would be considered lying. If they don't agree then they need to switch organizations
