What if every District Campground had a satillite feed and General Conference could be broadcast to the districts and votes could be taken electronically? Commericial time could be sold to vendors to sale there products or promote their departments.

No the broadcast or netcast would be free. Many business meetings are conducted via the internet, why can't that be used to lesson the cost of renting a Convention Center?
