The Democrats are the largest law breakers in this country. You could see that by the people they trotted out at the SOTU address.
I also blame the Republicans for griping about the length of the bill and the amount of time they had to read it before signing. Don't sign it if you don't have time to read it - it's a no brainer. Ugh!

Elizabeth Warren is a direct ancestor of Chief Jay Strongbow.

Re: On Trump's National Emergency Call
Interesting from Byron York at Washington Examiner. He reiterates what Sen. Mike Lee's Comm. Director said in my OP. He also adds additional information on how this plan will work:
In short, Trump will start building with the money allocated while the other issues are litigated in court. Smart move, IMO.
Here, in Texas, we believe the border is a National Emergency.

For Trump, the glass is a quarter full, and maybe more, if he moves thoughtfully in coming months.
Carroll noted that the White House plans to spend the money sequentially, first spending the appropriated money and then the money that can be tapped without an emergency declaration. That could build a significant amount of new barrier.
Meanwhile, as that construction goes on, the administration would be litigating the emergency declaration in court.

Re: On Trump's National Emergency Call
DJT overstepped his authority. He is out of order. Congress needs to stop his overreach.
The only emergency our nation faces is the specter of DJT as president.

Except for a lot of the local governments along the border. This is a glass 1/4 full of koolaid, that's all.
Time will tell.

Conservative Review asks: Why even have a Republican Party any more?
Apparently the GOP is only good for joining democrats on manic spending sprees. MAGA!!!

Re: On Trump's National Emergency Call
I've noticed that both demotards and republicants have the same defect: they think that politicians' speeches, tweets, emails and "statements" reflect reality. The partytards never seem to actually look at the actual provisions in actual bills.
So sad.

All you need to know about border security is to compare the two rallies between Trump and O'Rourke.
Trump's crowd - USA, USA!!
O'Rourke's crowd - Mariachi band playing along with people walking through the crowd flying Mexico's flag.
