A "beard thread" is understood by me to mean a thread ABOUT BEARDS. The "about" part is defined by the title and original intent of the thread starter. If someone makes a post in a thread and mentions "beard" when that thread is actually about green commies from Mars and their plans to poison the rivers and turn the frogs gay, it does not make that a "beard thread".

So far my Pastor has only said "I dont favor beards". I'm kind of hoping in a way he leaves it there. Another brother preached against letting down the standards a while back. I dont know if it was aimed at me.

A friend of mine from Missouri came to Church with us last night. He has a very good full beard. Nothing was said from the pulpit and the Pastor treated him kindly.
