I attended a Church in the 1980's that taught this very thing. Cant remember if they said my wife would go to Hell over it but Pastors wife told her, start wearing them.

Re: hell bound, pick one
I wear hose by choice all the time, but, if a preacher preached that it was a sin to wear or not wear, I would have to ask him to show me chapter and verse. If we want to get technical about it, women's blouses can be similar to men's shirts. That would mean no pajamas as they are like pants. Sounds so silly. People are dying and going to hell because they haven't surrendered their life to Jesus.

I don't believe either will send one to Hell. A pastor might feel that hose are more modest, and that should be respected. Another pastor might feel it isn't an issue, and allow for individual conscience on the matter. But whatever is worn should be modest.

Labels are nearly always a misrepresentation used as a weapon. I'd advise not paying them any mind. I know a pastor who calls any church that allows a woman to ever speak in services a "liberal" church. Yet he's more liberal on some issues than others on other issues.
The truth is, most are not all conservative or all liberal.

I'm reminded of a quote by JFK:
"If by a 'Liberal' they mean someone who looks ahead and not behind, someone who welcomes new ideas without rigid reactions, someone who cares about the welfare of the people-their health, their housing, their schools, their jobs, their civil rights and their civil liberties-someone who believes we can break through the stalemate and suspicions that grip us in our policies abroad, if that is what they mean by a 'Liberal', then I'm proud to say I'm a 'Liberal'." Liberals look forward, and are willing to abandon outdated understandings, traditions of men, and meaningless dogmas that do not serve the soul. But in doing so, they risk throwing out the baby with the bathwater. Liberals believe that unity should be predicated on love, with some diversity in custom being welcomed.
Conservatives often cling to outdated understandings, traditions of men, and meaningless dogmas, looking back with nostalgic and idealized notions of the past that are disconnected from reality. Conservatives believe that unity should be predicated upon rigid adherence to a given interpretation of custom, even if it unnecessarily divides the body.
Liberals are a varied lot are not afraid of venturing out into uncharted territory, taking risks, leading into new approaches, or making mistakes, in the quest to gain deeper, more authentic, and relevant truth.
Conservatives play it safe by staying within the confines of tradition.
Neither side is entirely correct. I've found that if one truly follows Jesus, liberals will find them too conservative, and conservatives will find them too liberal.
Just follow Jesus, and ignore what label either side tries to pin on you.

Re: hell bound, pick one
I have heard it preached that ladies should come to church with panty hose. Truthfully, I agree. I feel it’s better than exposing the leg even though the ladies in our church wear longer skirts. I would NOT label someone as a liberal over panty hose and I don’t know anyone who would.

Mike, tell you what, you get a congregation together and tell the women what underwear to put on. I'll personally bring you straws so you can eat when you are in the hospital with your jaw wired together.

Good God from Zion!!!!
38 years!!!
Bro, you deserve a set of cobweb tattoos on your elbows.
Seriously, we always hear your old war stories. About the golden age of Mike. When he use to be in a church sometime back in the 70s, the 80s. Bro we are in the 2,000s. You need to get off your elbows and do something.
