Heh heh heh, Sean is on a mission.

By himself and with the right hand of stupidity he shall vanquish every thought that is not fitting into his dispensational worldview.

I believe kingdom now.

Ya know what is funny?

I think we are all going to be surprised how it all works out!

Makes me wonder at times if eschatology is just a test to see if we pass the real test which is to.....

Love God and love one another.

Future prophecy is a VERY important part of our walk with God.

It is important, in that it gives us hope in a bleak situation, when the world is becoming wretched all around us, and also, it shows us the events, in order to be READY for the return of our Lord.

Without future prophecies, we would be wandering without direction as the world changes all around us, losing faith/hope in God in the process.

I agree with your overall point of loving, butyour words are too close to pan-trib trivializing of scriptural prophecy for me to totally agree.

Mike,

Tell me two men who can agree on prophecy?

We can agree on new birth, we can agree on HG, we can agree on gifts of the Spirit, but then we get to eschatology.

And..... BOOM!

Everything blows up.

Do you realize that the Jews even got it wrong with Jesus' first coming? Those Jews, studying for centuries, still got it wrong!!

WOW!

Then you are going to tell me that we have the copyright?

Naw.... you can call me PAN if you want to but we have lots to learn.

Re: God's "holy hill"?

Think about it Mike,

Tell me one church that was built on the message of Eschatology and survived.

None!

But the church is built on the Rock Christ Jesus. The belief that Jesus is living in me and will one day come for me to live with Him forever.

Giving me the ability to walk a new life, forgiving my sins....

I can think of several on here who agree. Me, Shag, Bowas.... to name a few right away. And that's only on here.

It was the state of their hearts, bro. Not a trend indicating no one can know His second coming since no one hardly knew his first.

I claim no copyright. But I cannot agree with the pan issue, and that we cannot know. Plainly put, there's so many passages to deal with and most don't take the time to do it. that's all, really.
