I can't stand Limbaugh, and honestly I'd never vote for Giuliani, but obama is the definitive blowhard.

Likewise, obama has milked the killing of bin laden for all he can get. His speeches set records for the use of first person singular references, including 199 references to himself in a speech last July declaring unilateral action. That's a first person singular reference to himself every 15 seconds! Talk about a blowhard! He also used the fps reference 99 times in announcing unilateral action on immigration this past November.

obama is the very definition of blowhard. You just disagree because he's your idol.
President Obama isn't a blowhard because he happens to still occupy an important position.

Furthermore, he doesn't mention the killing of OBL every time he speaks or even most of the time he speaks.

Besides, even if he did, it is at least some thing he had something to do with. He called the shots as Cmdr in Chief.

With Giulli, 9/11 happened to him.

Besides, one of President Obama's presidency's criticisms is that not enough people give him credit for the good he's done and they blame him for it.

I'm not making that up.

Besides, besides, this thread is about Giulliani, not President Obama.

He's like a Limbaugh without a radio show.
JD, that is sort of like saying Winston Churchill was a blowhard because he happened to be the Prime Minister of England during WWII.
What about Ray Nagin? He was the mayor of New Orleans during an unspeakable tragedy and showed himself to be an incredible blowhard!!!
Rudy showed great courage and was an example of how to manage during an incredible crisis.
Unlike BHO, who is now being called out by 12 year olds who have more sense then he does...

I don't like Nagin and this thread is not about him.

My point is that Giulliani pulls his 9/11 card every time he speaks publicly.

He milks it.

He milks it too much.

Furthermore, half the stuff he says is so outrageous, he diminishes his own influence.

No, he mostly stopped referring to it after his last campaign. But during the campaign we were constantly reminded that he called the shots to kill bin laden.

Sorry, JD, but that is incredibly dumb. I'm not sure you realize the incredible task it was, as Mayor of America's largest city, to deal with the worst terror attack on American soil in history. Most Mayors, even other Republican Mayors, would have wilted under the pressure. NYC would have been much worse, if not for the strong leadership of Mayor Giuliani.

You act as though what he did post 9/11 was nothing. I know you can't be that naive. Willfully biased, perhaps, but not naive.

Put away your political bias and give credit where it's due. You demand such for the things obama has done, yet the leadership Mayor Giuliani showed pre and post 9/11, but especially post 9/11, far exceeds that of obama.

JD, my point was that you cannot take away what Rudy did after 9/11.
Disagree with what he is saying now, yes, but give him credit for his past.

What you both don't seem to get is that one of my criticisms of Giulliani is his incessant pulling of his 9/11 card every time he speaks publicly.

Serving as Mayor and responding to an external stimuli doesn't make him qualified to speak on ALL THINGS POLITICAL-- foreign and domestic.

Furthermore, he diminishes his own standing with the nature of some of his comments.

I like Rush. He's right on most of the time. Not crazy about Rudy but what he said in this video is dead on. Obama does not love America.

Why not refute what he actually said on the video? How was he wrong?

I didn't hear him say it in this video but his latest outlandish remark about the President not loving America is stupid and adds nothing to his standing, cause, or those who share his opinions on other issues.

As for this video, he actually seems to agree with Obama though he passionately attacks Obama.

They seem to be saying the same things, just different wording.
