The National Guard will help get word out that the Border is not going to be as easy to get across. It's a show of force. I am for that.
Fixing the root of the problem - Yes, like enforcing the Immigration and Nationality Act. Specifically Section 235 which explicitly allows for the expedited removal of “any or all aliens” who have not been legally “admitted or paroled in the U.S.” and have not been in the U.S. for more than two years.
This law was under the authority of the Attorney General, but was turned over to Homeland Security. This law could be modified at any time time by the President, but he needs his Democratic voters to come in. Foreigners are very used to government control and are the best people to assimilate into the Democratic Party.
