My hope is that they let her keep her tin foil hat when they took her away to the hospital for observation because without it blocking the aliens electronic tracking signals they may find her!

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.
"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.
"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."
Quote from Ethel Goss (widow of 1st UPC Gen Supt. Howard Goss) book "The Winds of God"
Is that sarcasm, or a literal opinion of yours? Not so apparent (which one) considering the other comments in this thread, as well as your dismay at the decision to remove a possible psycho case to be medically evaluated. (Not that some congressmen aren't psychos too, but that's not the issue here--those others at least have the social sensitivity or intelligence to not get caught in this manner--except for the ones who do thankfully get similarly caught, a rarity.)

On that note, I do believe that Sheila Jackson Lee would have been (and IS) a MUCH better candidate to have some psych evaluation's done. LOL
ok, ive given careful consideration to the question "if God had a question for congress what would it be?"
After careful thought on the subject, I suspect that God would use a drunk sailor to cuss them all out.
Navy Goat is blushing right about now.
Sad to say my friend but I was a drunk sailor for many years, but for God!

Thank God, God has forgotten that life... however, from time to time... when I consider our government, for whatever reason, the language to explain exactly what they all are, and what they all can collectively do with themselves pops in my head.
Then I have to get a greenie meanie and some bug juce and clean out my pipe drians... LOL... (only a navy guy knows what that means!)

Aparrently the recording of her speech was NOT made when she was up at the front, but afterwards, when she was being removed and was at an elevator. Watch this video and you will see that the 'speech' of hers was 'dubbed in'. She didn't say what everyone says she said ON THE FLOOR. she said it later, I guess...
The fact this is being repeated by th emedia means they WANT this event to be on everyone's minds. I am now suspecting that this was a staged event attempting to make Christians look dangerous and against the Constitution, and to link those who oppose Freemasonry, and who are Christians, with wild crazy people who have mental problems.

Folks need to pay attention to this: Marc, as an atheist/unbeliever, you apparently believe it highly likely that a person who makes a public interruption in order to deliver a religious rebuke to the 'powers that be' is a mental case, a 'possible psycho'.
This is the mentality that will not only allow, but support the persecution of Christians for 'mental illness', just as was done throughout the middle ages (they called it witchcraft or demon possession or having a familiar spirit back then) and in many communist regimes.
