I am very confused.......so, we are to use the sword to cut out the Adam's apple? Isn't that suicide? And what do the cherubs have to do with being a neck? And, the sword is a mirror?

This is an anology. But hey, Billybob(bbrd) where'd ya go? There are two thyroids on each side of the neck--they can make you sick. But behind these thyroids(and the devil and his have been called worse) are two NERVES that control speech---we should have the nerve to speak the word boldly, seek it diligently, and obey it completely. Then we are ahead--a Head.

But the thyroid isn’t a smart organ; it doesn’t know how much thyroid hormone to put out to do its metabolism controlling. That job is the duty of the pituitary gland, which is located at the bottom of your brain. The pituitary gland is the control center for many glands besides the thyroid.

The analogy
The pituitary is the Master gland. The thyroid isn't the smartest of glands, it's run by the Master gland.
The covering cherub is the devil that guards the sword and the way to the tree of life.(thyroid/devil)--Adam's apple/sin. The sword is the word of God--we've all been delivered this sword--to take out the sins that separate us from God--the two cherubs are lust and greed controlled by the devil by which we have the power to overcome.
We are created by the Master's hand. Which hand?---RIGHT. Who is the right hand of God--Jesus Christ. To become a head and one with Him--get rid of lust and greed, they're the granddaddies of everything else.
