We would work out on a Friday then hit a pizza place after wards and drinks after that. Some even smoked (a little)! One guess as to which group were happier......

Again, exercise was the common denominator. Lord, I need to start doing this again, we have a North-rim to South-rim Grand Canyon hike coming up in a few months!
Oh well...I do go to the health food store to buy vitamins and kombutcha, and some organic whole foods. I don't have enough money to buy all my food there. I do eat some junk food...I love chocolate and sherbet so I am not going to say that I adhere to the whole thing and call myself a health food nut.

I was severely demineralized and felt much better after a couple of years on some good vitamins and coenzymes...and other things

FWIW...I felt much better ingesting Melalucca vitamins. My body balanced itself out with the omegas and cholesterol support. Even my sinuses cleared up. But at $108.00 a month for a one person supply, I felt guilty spending that amount of money on just me when I had a husband and children. So I gave that up.

Re: Blood Test for Depression

I should add here that my depression led me to the discovery of "codependence," which may not hold for anyone else, but I do believe depression is a sign from God now--like maybe a sign that one is ignoring, or blind, to evidence right in front of them, possibly.

At the least, please don't be deceived as to where your nutrition is most likely coming from, at least if you eat out of a grocery store:

Re: Blood Test for Depression

No need for a blood test for me. I strive to eat only whole non processed foods free from chemicals and GMO's. Sufficient proof that I am a nut. Bring on the drugs to cure me and make me sane like everybody else.

How come these pictures of advertisements always look better than the actual sandwiches you buy?

Re: Blood Test for Depression

A chronic depressive who does not respond to
Omega3 and vitamin D treatment (preferably from whole food)
might examine adrenal fatigue, but it amounts to the same thing;
a lifestyle change is indicated.
