Being that Cain is black himself, he carries himself very well IMHO. He doesn't strike me as arrogant or better than anyone else, let alone out to get anyone.
Honestly, for Cain to run on the Republican ticket is a blow to the black community. Whether or not he can persuade those among him to see his perspective and vote for him is another story. After all, most black folks I know are very vocal on their support for democrats. There are a few who don't support them.

For the sole purpose of making a statistical statement by voting for someone because they think they'll get more representation, or because of skin color, is absurd and throws up red flags immediately. They're in it for the wrong reasons. I'm not alone on that one, even with some of my non-white friends...
