Re: Wedding Bells?
Im'a just gonna say it.
CM has never toed the line. He has been a lightning rod because of his relationships within the broader Christian world. In fact, the District Board in one state wouldn't let him sing (minister) at any of their events because of his relationships with the religious movement outside of "Apostolic" circles.
So, this doesn't really surprise me. I hope he's happy.
(But did you see those tattoos?) Wowsers!

And this has always been to his credit as far as I am concerned
A couple years ago we went and heard him preach at the local AOG. He mentioned his denomination from the pulpit in passing but was clearly there to minister in the AOG framework. He is a very good preacher (something many people don't know about him).
About his lady friend... Just to be clear - I have no information beyond what is posted in this thread.
I certainly have no intent to spread any misinformation.

Yeah, I'd say that's definitely not mainstream UPC.

well your not viewing it from a ministerial point, they would look at it this way, if your wife is not into submission of what Gods bible states, (which Upci has their golden standards we all know) then it is portrayed as you do not have controll over your family/household. again this is not every ministers view in the upci, but you may find thisview among the older ones.

Re: Wedding Bells?
If I remember correctly, Bro. McGruder's first wife was killed in an automobile accident, after attending the 1975 Gen. Conf. in Ft. Worth, Tx. We attended a couple of days.
I don't believe Priscilla had been married. It seemed he had children already. I don't recall Priscilla and Bro. McGruder having children together. In viewing photos of family occasions through the years, it appeared Priscilla treated them as her own. I could be wrong in some of these points.
