I don't own a gun, never fired one, don't plan on changing that. Problem is, you live in a country (assuming you live in the USA) that believes otherwise. There are millions of gun owners in the USA. This was put in place by the framers of this country's constitution. Prominent Christians, such as John Adams, built this country's political system from the ground up. It was assumed at the time that everyone owned a gun, but just to be sure, they encoded it in the Bill of Rights. John Adams didn't hide in a prayer closet, yet many of his Puritan brethren did. He prayed, but he got out and made things happen. He and his fellow countrymen enshrined our right to bear arms against a totalitarian govt, if necessary. Texas always talks about defecting from the USA, who's next? Is Civil War 2 or American Revolution 2 coming? When all the leeches are suddenly cut off from social security, medicare, and food stamps, then you better get worried.

This is the political subforum, not the prayer room.

You are rude and obviously troubled. However I can pray WHEREVER I want and you and your little comments won't stop me.
Thanks and do have a great day!

Yeah, that's right, it's not ok for me to say it, but it's ok when Michele Bachmann says it, because she is part of the American aristocratic class and we're not members. March 25, 2009 to Sean Hannity, she says:
At this point the American people - it's like Thomas Jefferson said, a revolution every now and then is a good thing. We are at the point, Sean, of revolution. And by that, what I mean, an orderly revolution -- where the people of this country wake up get up and make a decision that this is not going to happen on their watch. It won't be our children and grandchildren that are in debt. It is we who are in debt, we who will be bankrupting this country, inside of ten years, if we don't get a grip. And we can't let the Democrats achieve their ends any longer.
The founders gave everything they had to give us this freedom. Now it's up to us to give everything we can to make sure that our kids are free, too. It's that serious. I hate to be dramatic, but--
I will give her credit, she voted against TARP, which was the right thing to do.

Well, ninny ninny boo boo. Do you have a political position or opinion you wish to share? Or do you wish to continue calling me rude. You obviously are in the wrong area.

Re: The Bible and Elected Officials
Thanks to God's grace and the civil rights movement, I can go ANYWHERE I want to go. lol. My position is, I see you. I don't like the way you think. I can say so. I can pray, and I WILL pray...anywhere I want to do so. Do something about it.
Had enough here though. Enjoy.

Re: The Bible and Elected Officials
Adam, I'm not saying what you're saying is not okay. You referenced something Michelle Bachmann said. But, one area of what you quoted her saying is sticking out like a sore thumb -- "an orderly revolution." Your mention of "...gets the barrel" earlier is not orderly. So, if you're going to make a statement like that then reference someone advising an orderly revolution, the two don't go together in context. I completely understand America is on the verge of something happening, both politically and spiritually at the same time. I'm simply saying it might not be a good idea for you (or the rest of us) to ponder the thought of weaponry toward a politician you/we don't agree with.
And, kingdomapostle, the name calling business needs to go. Seriously. My intent behind this was not to take it to a level of namecalling because of one person's comment. Thank ya, kindly...
