The azaleas are in full bloom here in Maine. LOL!!

We are way behind all of you in Texas when it comes to planting a garden!

Re: My Garden and the Texas Drought

Do you have any ability to irrigate?

Granted our garden can be measured in a hundred square feet, not tens of thousands but our irrigation system lets us grow peppers all Summer, even when it hits 110.

How about a picture of a Lemon Tree that Elizabeth and I planted last year? The tree is sitting on the back of the little trailer.

These are those very large lemons. I forget the name of them.

You got that right, sis.

Right smack day in the middle of the "Big Thicket." It's where God kissed the earth when he created both heaven and earth.

Oh yes.

I have both a dug well that is way over a hundred years old plus I have two springs that never run dry. I recently hooked up a pump to the well since I had been using way too much public water and it was getting expensive.

Speaking of peppers. I planted a hundred foot row of Bell Peppers. I'll have a lot to give away when they start coming in.

When the tomatoes come in I may have to come visit if mine don't make better than they have in the last three years. I need enough to can.

My Bell Peppers look pitiful! Usually, I have enough to give away when I plant in a large pot. You would think the earth would do better. Not so with this gumbo soil we have. It is getter better each year I add to it. But I still have a long way to go to make it good fertile soil.
