I agree. Just like I said in my previous post. This isn't new in the least.

But I don't think they initial statement was an actual attempt to fool people. They probably thought exactly what they were saying.

But... now that info is known they need to fix it. But overtly accusatory and ridiculing threads don't help anyone's cause.

It would be best to present a thread showing all the data and then respectfully call for a recanting of what they said. There is a lot to be said for tact, technique and brotherly respect.

And... before you say what "they" did or would do... we are to do unto others as we would HAVE them do unto us. I'm not trying to give you a hard time about this. But man... you just come out swinging don't you?

Dig, respectfully, this story is over 2 weeks old here on AFF ... Socialite broke it then ... with the hokey claims of fire balls confirming the message ... and Socialite sharing facts about the bolide ...

We also know Paul's been following this site ... "researching filth"

Baumeister just posted his fable about 4 days concerning the fireball falling "behind the church" ... I think he has a duty if he wants to have any semblance of credibility, objectivity, and truth do some basic fact checking ...

Unless the motive is to deceive.

I was on the internet 1/11 and logged onto AFF. Suddenly a bright light flashed through the sky, right over my house! God has put his seal of approval on AFF, with fire falling from Heaven!

Now just log onto AFF, touch your screen, send me $100, and you will experience this same fire!

Funny enough ... the lights in the neighborhood went out after I posted my 4th or so post on this thread ... it could be interpreted as God's judgment over being critical about the Apostolic News fabrications ... or the reality is the blustery cold front that has swept over the nation has led to rolling blackouts throughout Houston ... with street lights and homes being out for 10-40 minutes to "conserve energy".

Of course the hand of God has "punished" everybody in Houston for my posting ... freezing their tails off with their central heating going out ... backed up traffic ... and some kids being sent home from a handful of schools because there are no lights in some areas.

Well, the kids might interpret this as a reward from heaven.

I've only seen the opposite confirmed.

What is silly is that I wouldn't doubt, had there been a uniqueness to the claim, supernatural intervention if it was a perfectly timed meteor. But this story seems like they are trying too hard to make it into something it is not -- much like they do with the scriptures
