Pro 11:30 The fruit of the righteous is like a tree producing life, and the one who wins souls is wise.
Pro 11:31 If the righteous are recompensed on earth, how much more the wicked sinner!

It's interesting, but I'm not sure this Proverb has anything to do with evangelism.
Trust in your money and down you go!
But the godly flourish like leaves in spring.
29 Those who bring trouble on their families inherit the wind.
The fool will be a servant to the wise.
30 The seeds of good deeds become a tree of life;
a wise person wins friends.
Where do we get that this is evangelism?

Luk 5:10 and so also were James and John, sons of Zebedee, who were partners with Simon. And Jesus said to Simon, "Do not be afraid; from now on you will be catching men."

Let's go back to Luke, but again, I'm not sure why we are proof-texting Proverbs 11:30 as an evangelistic verse?

Re Luke, can we agree this is absolutely figurative -- Jesus uses imagery of what the disciple is familiar with (fishing) to talk about how his pursuits will soon change (to that of an Apostle). Let's start there....

the point is an answer to the question of what a soul winner/capturer is as it is being used in accordance to this thread

Will you stop it with your, "What does it really mean" stuff? How in good conscience can you ruin thousands of sermons, guilt trips, and seminars by revealing what this verse really means? Ya big jerk. Surely you know by now that what verses really mean, doesn't even matter, right?
