Dan, I believe they have the right, but that doesn't make it right. After listening to the story, Olbermann's downplay of this as a Mosque is almost silly, and the Imam's refusal to denounce terrorism only complicates the matter. You want an Islamic center in close proximity to the worst attack on US soil (at the hand of Islamic terrorism), and you're an Islamic leader who doesn't rebuke terrorism? That's troubling. The move seems provocative. And I'm not one to jump to playing the Islamaphobia card either.

I would think that we wouldn't want these type of places anywhere not to mention close to the World Trade Center site. Media can say anything they want and present 'some' evidence to make it sound 100% true. I wouldn't want Mosque there anymore than I would want an Apostolic Church there 'cause there might have been lots of Apostolics killed that day. Perhaps a religious museum of sorts that represents all the cultures and religions that lost members that day.

That would have been a strange day at work to have parts of landing gear fall through the roof. I worked at places where very famous people came through and it is cool to tell the Fam, but talk about landing gear coming in that there doesn't happen often.

Two minutes is all i could stand, i liked dolberman when he was a sportswriter commentator. sorry DA he doesnt nail it imo, except to prove he is another lefty sympathizer, what a joke over simplification of something that is far more than we know,or they have admitted to.Rebuild the greek orthodox church that was destoyed instead.

Let's look at this logically...

"THEY CAME FIRST for the Communists,
and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Communist.

THEN THEY CAME for the trade unionists,
and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a trade unionist.

THEN THEY CAME for the Jews,
and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Jew.

THEN THEY CAME for me
and by that time no one was left to speak up."

Hmmmm... maybe "THEY" should have been stopped before their power base became so powerful. What Olbermann's failing to see is that the "THEY" in this are the... radical Muslims. If these radical Islamic extremists get enough money and power, "THEY", will even come for Olbermann. Why don't we take a stand and "STOP" them BEFORE "THEY" come for the Communist, unionists, Jews, and perhaps even our own families??? "THEY" already killed over 3000 people on 9/11. "THEY" already have beheaded numerous Westerners on Arabic television. "THEY" are killing our soldiers as we speak. "THEY" are conducting a global terrorist campaign targeting civilians. "THEY" are swearing to vaporize Israel and crush the United States. "THEY" are striving day and night for nuclear capability.

If "THEY" might come for us all... why do we tolerate their advancement on our own soil???

This mosque will serve to spread their ideology. The Imam wanting to build this mosque is a radical. If the purpose of this mosque wouldn't serve his radical ideals... why is he so "for it"? Money will enter this machine (that will spread their ideology on our soil) and it will eventually end up in the hands of our enemies.

Let's take a stand against "THEM" before "THEY" come for us all.

What I say unto you, I say unto all (including Olbermann). THINK!
