The title asks whether God
demands our love. That answer, of course, is yes. Nobody here (other than a few renegades

) would say otherwise. The poll question is about the
penalty for disobeying the command to love God. I didn't think that would be as controversial as it has turned out (but I should have known better!

). Disobeying this command, same as any other, is sin, and the penalty of sin is death. I guess some don't think
God will do the killing, so they voted False.
