One other interesting fact. No SEC team has ever lost the BCS championship game...

Alabama had some pretty scary stats in the Florida game.

Re: Hook 'em horns!!!!!!!!!!!!
Seem's to me it is evidence of what those in the SEC already believe... that Nebraska was the first real defense Texas has played all year.

No, I wasn't home but, my husband watched it and told me about it. I checked the stats later on ESPN.
For instance, on penalties: 1-5! Yikes!!!

Well, I'm going in thinking we will pull it off. No sense in being overly pessimistic.

That's not really true. Oklahoma State, the Sooners and Texas Tech all have pretty good defensive teams.

1 second to go and the kick is in! What a game!

My guess is that Colt McCoy woke up in the middle of the night in a cold sweat, still dreaming of Ndamakong Suh pounding him in to the turf!

Okay, I admit, Suh was brutal - BUT - the fact still remains.....

You're right I forgot about Oklahoma. I wouldn't put the other two up there anywhere near as high though... Texas will score at most two touchdowns in the Alabama game (maybe an added field goal or two if they are really lucky). And from the looks of Alabama's offense against Florida which has as good of a defense if not much better than anything Texas played, Alabama is looking to score about 30-35 on Texas.
