Re: Please pray for my niece...
UPDATE................
Well, they took her back to the doctor today after her fever spiked to 104.8 last night and after 3 unsuccessful attempts to reach her doctor last night.
They took her in and she was no better. She was throwing up the antibiotics that they gave her and she would take her Motrin and as soon it would wear off, her fever would spike again.
Anyway they took her in and they did blood work on her. She was dehydrated and so they couldn't find a vein and had to DIG around in her veins when they did. They stuck her about 4-5 times and she did pretty good. But they finally determined she has pnemonia in both lower lobes and they came in to give her a "SOT" and she had a fit. My sister said she went hysterical!!!! Kicking and screaming to the top of her lungs.
Anyway, I called to find out how she was, and Rachael answered the phone and here is the conversation (spoken like she does....remeber she's four)...
"Hello"
"How are you feeling?"
"Umm...petty dood"
"Well, that's good"
"They dave me a sot!!!!"
"Oh my goodness, they did."
"ES"
"They did, did it hurt?"
"ES"
"Did you cry?
"ES"
"Did you get mad at them?"
"ES, I did and I Ticked 'em too!!"
I almost fell out of the van laughing at her.
She doesn't put the first letter on many of her words and when she does, it's usually mispronounced. She is a HOOT!!!
But, I want to thank everyone for their prayers. She's doing better, but not out of the woods yet. She has to go back to the doctor in the morning to make sure the antibiotics are working, and to make sure she's feeling better.
So please continue to pray.
I appreciate it sooooo much. I was worried that she had Staph infection. Praise the Lord she doesn't.
