- Every sinner must repent of their sins.
- That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
- That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
- The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.

I've heard it does happen, but not common.

Have you ever seen the videos of the gas passing preachers on Youtube? They are hilarious, especially the one of John Hagee!

Re: Is this common?
Some have speculated this was the inference of Paul when he said
" But if there be no interpreter, let him keep silence in the church; and let him speak to himself, and to God."

That was my experience in receiving the HG, but now it never happens. On occasion, I hear the interpetation of my own tongue or sometimes others, in english in my mind. Most often it is my wife if she an I are praying for people in a prayer line together, we have spoken in tongues to each other and knew exactly what each was saying. I think this is so that we can pray in agreement with each other and we do not have to let the whole church in on what we are saying.

That's a new take on that. I always thought he meant to speak silently, like in your library voice.
