I love the Lord because he has been faithful to me when I haven't been!

After a rough evening, the next morning my 6yr old daughter gave me a note with a pretty little picture she drew and it said...
"Daddy, sorry for all the rong things I did."
I cannot describe or explain the love and endearment and tears I had for my precious baby that very moment, it made my limbs weak and I am getting all emotional just reliving it.
If it is at all comparable to the love my Jesus has for me when I submit myself to him, I wouldn't be able to do anything but love him back for that...wow.

I love Him because He shed His blood for me.

HE loved me, a 15 yr old boy that was so unlovable, despised, and rejected by family, an outcast to society..
I love HIM....

I love Him because He first loved me! Jesus loves me so much that he adopted me into His family and calls me His child.

I love the Lord because he loves me even when I am undeserving of his love.

Well we all say we love the Lord and there are lots of reasons why we should but sometimes I choke on the words when I go to say them and I wonder if I'm not just mouthing words without really stopping to think what I'm saying and what this "love" I'm professing really looks like to Him.
Jesus asked Peter if he loved Him. Do you ever hear the Lord asking you the same thing?
