You are dead wrong here. As much as I dislike McCain you are getting the difference between electing a moderate Democrat (McCain) and a far left wing liberal Democrat (Obama).
Plenty of difference there, just not as much as I would like.
When you think appoiniting Federal judges with McCain you at least have a shot of getting a strict constructionist or moderate. With Obama you are going to get a flaming Ginsberg style liberal.

Democrat is democrat -- I'll vote for neither of them... and like we're doing so wonderful with the ones that this administration has appointed who are stipping away all our rights altogether. And you have struck on the problem -- instead of leaving the constitution alone they want to create policies for their appointees. Which is indicative of the same coin with two sides. They seem so very different but are so very much the same -- they both want their own power and own policies pushed forward.
You've socialism with Obama and a crazy old man with McCain. Then Bush has done nothing less than appoint folks (as well as push through some of the most egregious legislation -- ever) that have set the civil rights of the American people back decades.
I'm not wrong -- they are the same. They are a representative duplicity of personas -- a single entity with two different masks that keep the american people dumbed down and incapable of voting for people who may actually make a difference. And the MSM is complicit in this, along with the Church, and a whole host of other entities with their incapability to see past "loosing to the [place most hated political party/single issue here]".
All of these should be speaking truth to the powerful but all a politician has to do to get the Christian vote is scream abortion and suddenly all manner of junk is overlooked because those daggum democrats want to kill us all -- and the MSM is no different. Try screaming "Global Warming" or "Universal Healthcare" and see how much of a change that makes in a Democrat politicians corner.
Singular topics and issues that hide the other junk that is about as anti-american as you can get. It's slight of hand plain and simple. "Watch this hand! See it! See it!" while the other hand is slipping our rights right into the garbage. Someone begins noticing and suddenly "Abortion! Global Warming! Safety from terrorism! Iran is going to bomb us with their non-existent air force, wooden coast guard battleships, and complete archaic military technology! Britney is pregnant again! Brad and Angelina are having problems!" is yelled and the attention is directed back to the issues that "they" want us to look at.
A citizen who votes for the lesser of two evils is still voting for evil...
But I digress...
