I attend PFAC in Phoenix, Pastor Frank Romo. I am sure you already know that is an AAFCJ congregation.

I am not Latino, I am anglo through and through. We are the only ALL white family at PFAC. =) My Spanish sucks so we attend the English services. Been there 4 years this June.

I love my kooky family.

Gracias!
LOL, in the little spanish speaking church that my family attended when I was a toddler, Amen Amen was the response to Paz de Cristo! I still remember that, and come to think of it, they also clapped "on" beat with 3 claps at the end of 4 measures...heeeeyyyyyyyyy! They were sinning!!!

When we first started going here we felt out of place because they all greeted, God bless you, or Paz de Cristo. Well when we responded God Bless you to those that said that to us it was okay but to respond back Paz de Cristo got us some funny looks. Then we were told the the appropriate response would be Amen. OKAY....
The odd one was hearing them say Gloria a Dios, it is said so fast i thought the were saying glory adios. Seeing as how most speak English and only a few would say that it was not sinking in. I could not imagine why they would tell glory goodbye. Took a few times before my mind woke up and realized the were saying Glory to God.

Did they sing that old dismissal hymn:

"Amen, Amen, Amen
Resuena nuestra voz
Amen digan los fieles
Alaben el nombre de Dios
Amen, Amen, Amen
Ha llegado la gran bendicion
Alabemos con gozo al eterno
Y un grito del alma que sabe un Amen
Amen, AMEN!"

No real problem exists over the use of "The Name" in everthing else done in the Church. Why then should there exist great controversy over the use of the "The Name of the Godhead" in water baptism?
