Back in the mid 70's my MIL was in a terrible car accident that left her with a broken back and paralyzed from the waist down.
While she was in the hospital her roommate was a woman who had decided in the middle of a thunderstorm to climb up on her roof to adjust her TV antenna so she could watch her favroite show with better reception.
She was struck by lightning that blew off her arms and legs and part of her skull.
That is one of the most horrible things I have ever heard happening to a human being but in the back of my mind I keep remembering the concept "survival of the fittest" ansd surely that woman had one of the weakest minds on the planet to do what she did.

It ain't just rednecks folks...When I was a kid, I shot a gun in my backyard and the bullet ended up in my neighbor's back wall....that backyard was in the middle of a city in Orange County!!!! Stoopid is stoopid anywhere!
