As a general rule, if voting is allowed at age 16, you double the number of voters and you have a good estimate of the overall membership kids and all.
May not be true in every instance, but as a general rule it works.

Re: Wayne McClain disaffiliates his church
Last I knew, Elder McClain's church was running around 225-250.
He is one of the greatest men I know. A real man of God.

So far, it seems to me that these guys have sour grapes over positions they either didn't get or didn't keep in the UPCI. Lot's of Chiefs, how many Indians?

I was wondering how you came to this conclusion! Do you know Wayne McClain?

There might be some men you could make this statement about, and there be some evidence to supportit.
But you very obviously don't know Wayne McClain or you wouldn't say that about him.

Re: Wayne McClain disaffiliates his church
Yes I do.
He ran for the DS of TX when JK was elected in the early 90's. He would have made good Supt, no doubt. My comment is simply a reflection on the fact that there are some who feel they have no opportunity in the UPC to lead.
I've known and have fellowshiped most of these men over the years. Love them all, but its not unusal for positions of leadership to effect people. Positions that they hold or fail to hold.
Who knows the heart? It seems that most of these men have held office or desired to hold office in the past. I think this whole thing is about power and control.
This new "fellowship" may afford them those opportunities.
Just my opinion.
