I don't think it's a matter of whether or not we care. it's just one of those things that some find amusing.

So, Reckhart is in with WPF? (meaning he lends them his support)

I very seriously doubt Reckhart would be in with them. Even though they are considered to be conservative, they are far from it according to his views!

I guess my only observation is that one’s ability to string a few words together into the form of a paragraph, then post it on the internet, is no indication of wisdom.

This is all so funny. Reminds me of the Discovery channel.

Where the Male Lion Pride leader will eat their male young to keep out the competition..

If they do let them live they force them our after they are 3 years old..

Reckarts support, or endorsement, to any group holds about as much weight as John Kerry (who served in Vietnam by the way) doing the same.

This reminds me of something from my deep dark past.

As a kid growing up, my grandfather had a lot of political pull in our local community.

Once he had decided to support a candidate, with some folk he would tell them who he supported. with other members of the community he would just flat lie and tell him he was supporting the candidate he actually opposed!

Those that trusted my Granfathers judgement would vote with him, thus voting for the person my Grandfather approved of.

Those that were political enemies of my grandfather, thinking they were voting to thwart him, actually voted FOR my grandfathers candidate!

with WreckedHeart, if he thought gumbo was good, i might reconsider my affection for it!

I will never understand how anyone professing Christianity can behave in the manner Reckart does. It's reminiscent of Paul...BEFORE his conversion, when he was still Saul, going around killing Christians.

I don't get how anyone can follow such a man, either. Personally, I'd rather follow a man who is following Christ. Reckart only follows his own agenda.

I agree. He holds to some good conservative ways that I may even understand... BUT his judgemental attitude toward people and the way he criticizes people will totally ruin anything good he has to say. The Word tells us that we will know people by their fruits.... Bro. Reckhart has a lot of sourgrapes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't know the man and truly don't mean to be judgmental (and the man does preach the Gospel after all so there's a need to be careful), but what I've heard and read I agree with you.

The Bible does say that out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.

Or the pen writes.

Or the spirit manifests itself.
