You are in my prayers!
Now wait - you just told her not to follow the advice of anyone on the forum, and now you're giving her advice!!!!!!!!!!

Re: You know nothing about the LORD

I agree with Coop. Teach them about Jesus. They are probably too young to learn anything about doctrine. I taught a bible study to a 25 yr old single women. She was older a little wiser, but was convienced there is a God. I started out teaching about creation and then about the Easter story. She would ask questions about the HG and Pentecost and I answered them, but did not go to deep. Once she was with it on the Jesus/Easter story and creation I taught he about Grace and Mercy and forgivness of sins. It took several studies and maybe months to get to Pentecost. She did see the revelation of baptism and was baptized and then got the HG. She started as a waitress at the local Applebees now she is helping with a church that their main focus is missions, home and abroad. But you gotta start simple. No use in confusing them with doctrine that even the older people do not understand.

Yeah, this is totally true. Recently I had a friend coming with me to church who was fifteen, and she was determined to jump into Pentecost "full-blast" all at once, and it ended up being too much for her and she quit. So it is definitely important to take "baby steps". Wish you the best of luck and you'll be in my prayers, MissDKendall.
