Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:
If you're going to quote that, hope you have no pictures around the home. Hope you have no cute little figurines of animals or people. Hope you didn't play with any stuffed animals or dolls or other characters.

Graven images...

How many other customs of heathens, not named Christmas or Halloween, do you and others do?

The word meaning includes reverence, awe, to be fearful, afraid, etc.

Also, I know of no one who actually has "deep respect" for a tree.

Again, I don't have a tree. Not because I'm a'gin it, but because I don't want to pay for a dumb, stinky tree or a cheap, fake one.

First, the doll itself is like $30 or something. Then you can add a stuffed dog or other accessories. It's ridiculous.

One couple I know, the wife set it up each night after their kids go to bed. She takes pics and posts them on FB. They have 2 elves and a dog. Always creating elaborate scenes of the elves and dog doing various things.

My dad used to do WW2 and Vietnam War dioramas. I guess this is sort of similar?

You tell me? I don't know of any heathen religious customs that we practice, either outright or under the guise of "claiming them for Jesus".

Except those dioramas had a better point or purpose.

Have you heard of Mark Hogancamp, a veteran who has created really detailed dioramas?

Christmas and hair.. Could getting hearts right and overcoming fleshly issues be more important?
