That's the perception that is being created out on the open forum by radical posts claiming some conspiracy. The perception of the Admins seems to be somewhat different.

I don't post much but I seem to find quite enough in the 'arena of ideas' you speak of. Sadly, I have personally talked to many of those conservative minds that have left and their reasons bother me.

AFF is a fellowship. Some want it to be a battlefield. Some see it as a firing range. I, myself, find it less 'fun' when I have to dodge shrapnel. Does that mean that all conservatives are 'running' and 'can't defend their stands'. Absolutely 100% NO. What it means is that a few with vendettas make it not worth the trip.

It happens on BOTH sides. The extremes will always be exteme to some. It would be wise for us to not make this a 'they want to veto one viewpoint' charade. If a forum like this survives both viewpoints have to be allowed.

I believe that is the point that MOW made in leaving. Of course, I could be reading what he said in a wrong way, but I don't think so. Not this time
