LOL!!! I can't keep my eyes off it when he sings. I thought it was a huge pimple with tons of make-up covering it up which I think makes it look worse.

Like trying to watch Aaron Neville sing. I would always have to turn my head to keep from being grossed out when he would be on TV. His face looked like some alien from outer space had locked onto it.

Re: American Idol
Now you know good and well you shouldn' t be watching American Idol.
I mean really! What a bunch of sinners! Don't you know that the very NAME is just WRONG?
And while you are at it, don't go in that mall anymore cause you might see something you don't believe in.
Oh yeah, and that grocery store? That place sells liquor and smokes. Keep your carcass out of there. It doesn't look good to see you in such a place.
And if you like to eat out, you better watch your choice of restaurants. Even Burger King has a TV in it and we all know Applebees has multiple TVs and serves liquor besides!
(I just had to rant a bit, I don't get to do it much on this forum these days.)

LOL!! We just got to tune in when Lil Rounds started singing, but when they did the highlights, I said the exact same thing!! I told Jon, "That girl needs to go."

I am so tired of her voice. I can't believe she's made it this far.

Ugh, that was so painful. I know she's trying to copy Amy Winehouse, but then I don't like AW either, so a bad version of AW is really more than I can bear.
This is the first time I've watched in awhile, so I'm only going by tonight's performances.
My picks, in order(for tonight) are:
1. Adam Lambert (best all around performance, great vocals, very entertaining)
2. Danny Gokey (the performance I want to watch again)
3. Allison Iraheta (good vocals, in spite of the weird costume)
4. Kris Allen (It was okay. I didn't agree that it was a great arrangement of the song. But good vocals I suppose, especially considering that he was playing the piano.)
5. Scott Macintyre (Just very pretty...in fact, at the end, Jeffrey spoke up and said, "Mommy, he's pretty." LOL!!!)
The others can just go home as far as I'm concerned. I don't care.

What are you teaching that kid, Bratty?

Re: American Idol
Danny did great as usual. Adam did good but then I love that song so that helped. Also love "Ain't No Sunshine" that number 9 did and not only did he do great vocally but it was a unique arrangement for that song that worked.
Biggest disappointment was wart boy. I can't remember his name but the great singer with the giant bump in the middle of his forehead that draws you in like a magnet. He has been great lately but tonight it was just horrible. Bad song and bad vocals. At the beginning of the song I was thinking maybe his monitor wasn't working and he coudlnt' hear himself because he was off key and I have never heard him do that before.
Blind dude did the best he has ever done. He ususally sounds amateurish but tonight sounded like a pro.

Well, he did correct himself after the girls laughed at him. I tried to shush them, but his 6 year old faux pas are an endless source of amusement.
