Ahh, okay...gotcha. Well, Perry's just stepping on toes for all the right reasons...'cause the toes he's steppin' on haven't ventured out very far in the last nearly 3 years. So, Perry's having to make up for it...I think he's doing a mighty fine job, at least for now. Should he move on up to the east side, hopefully he'll stay the course. One can only hope and pray, right?

Well, so far, he is my pick, but I'd have to consider Chris Christie if he got in. And I know Paul Ryan couldn't win, but he would have been my top choice.

Re: Why I'm Against Perry

The day I heard Perry was thinking of running I rolled my eyes. The longer he is out there the less eye rolling I have done and the more looking at him as a real candidate I do.

Chris Christie would likely be my top pick if he got in but that isnt certain. Perry right now is my top pick. that is subject to change as I am not settled.

Re: Why I'm Against Perry

I always think it's fun to follow InTrade. Right now:

Rick Perry:
VP Pick: 2.0
Pres. 2012 - 18.5
Pres. Nominee - 36
NH Primary - 23.0
SC Primary - 60

Mitt Romney
VP Pick - 4.9
Pres. 2012 - 13.9
Pres. Nominee - 31.8
NH Primary - 50.0
SC Primary - 15

Barack Obama
Pres. 2012 - 51.4 (yesterday it was at - 50.8)

that looks pretty close to me. I still say BHO is the odds on favorite. Sitting presidents are hard to unseat. and there is a LOT of time between now and the election for things to improve.

Totally agree with you here. The only thing is that Obama has been so boldly in-your-face about his failed policies, not caring that they fail and saying he is succeeding, when the Black Caucus is even up in arms over their unemployment record. I don't see how he will pull himself out. It is the strangest thing going on right now.

He campaigns against vouchers, minced no words about that at the outset. He was basically saying, "I'm throwing the minorities under the bus. Just letting you know before you elect me." And then they elected him. LOL!

Re: Why I'm Against Perry

If I were running for president right now, I be running the following:

After 900 odd days in office, Mr. Obama announced he was going to get really serious about jobs... right after he gets back from vacation...
