I assure you my remarks are not personal to you. I think much of this is folks taking something that was meant somewhat seriously and somewhat humorously and taking it beyond its intent. I do understand why. I do understand the questions that have been asked. I just think we are all taking this way too far with no good end in sight. JMO.

A discussion on reprobation would be a great thing. But if we have to bring names and personalities into it then it will be of little value.

What if I had said it about conservatives? Would you defend it and let it go so easily?

Look, many people look to this forum as a place of refuge from the realities of life. AFF has been a haven from all of the junk that befell our last home. The thing that bothers me the most about the thread topic is that we were attacked in much the same way that NFCF was four months ago. From within.

I enjoy this forum so much. Call me a loser if you want, but I have made a host of friends here. I care about this. It bothers me when the "whole" of us are labeled as something other than Christians.

This is not a lib/con issue. This is an attack on the full body of AFF posters.

It was not an attack on the WHOLE. Nowhere did he ever say ALL. If so then he is also calling some if his best friends reprobate. Do you really, honestly think that is what he was saying?

Depends. If you stated it with the smiley he did and in the way he did I would probably let it go. If you stated "All conservatives are reprobate" I probably would not have had to deal with it, Admin would have. At this point I find it interesting that if it were such a wrong popst why hasn't admin done anything about it? Are they all conservative and protecting OP? I thik not.

Believe it or not PP, I am not a crusader for every post I take issue with. If I were there would be no time for anything else.

Furhter, the reason I did not jump OP is because I agree with his take on the reprobate thing. He offered an apology to those offended. What more do you want? Perhaps you should formally ask Admin to ban the word "reprobate" from the Forum?

However, I feel it is a negative affect on AFF and I guess that's what saddens me the most.

I don't recall ever agreeing that it is like Lois' site. At times it does eem that there are similarities in some of the posters. Also, indeed I think there have been some reprobates that have posted here.
