Eastman, for the last time, the problem is not in how the sentence was structured. The problem is in how you are reading it. The "when he was a POW" follows "the woman who stuck it out with him." This is basic reading comprehension. My suggestion is that you go back to high school and take your English class over again. I'm not going to respond to any more of this nonsense from you. Had I started the sentence with "When he was a POW and used a comma after it, then it would have meant I was saying he cheated on her while he was a POW. Good grief!
