Many of the names mentioned on this thread are strangers to me. Never heard tell of them.
Yes, Felicity ........... no one quite like JT Pugh in my book! A prince among many good teachers I've known. He preached my High School graduation in 1963 and many many other venues down through the years. I will weep when he is gone. My own Dad has been one of the greatest but he was mentored by one of the greatest of all time. Dad, who will be 82 soon, still teaches weekly. Great teachers in all of our lives and with it comes great responsibilty, "of whom much is given, much shall be required."

Like many who have posted their favorite teacher, my Dad will not be recognized outside his District. None of those initials Phil but honored. A small clue for those who know some history, Dad was a '49 er! Hello to you also Crakjak already a fine friend and we haven't even met ..... yet!
