So why be a witness or preach the Gospel to sinners? smh
Ezekiel was sent to speak to Israel and God said, "They [Israel] whether they will hear or whether they will forbear...yet shall know that there hath been a prophet among them."
I'm not calling Stoneking a prophet, but God wants us to be a witness no matter if people listen or even obey. We shouldn't worry if people will listen or obey. Just speak the Word and be a witness, regardless.

I was simply asking why all the debate about what's happening at the UN? We know who and what they are and stand for. Some folks think the UN is "so important" that LS or Art Wilson or whoever "can't possibly be taken seriously there" and I'm wondering who takes the UN seriously?

Re: Lee Stoneking Addresses UN
somebody save me some catch-up time, and tell me what the purpose was for being asked to speak there.
Topic or topics of interest in relation to being asked to speak, I mean...

General Assembly High level debate
They wanted a opinion from religious leaders the answer to the violence and human atrocities of our day.
They picked 15 religious speakers from around the world.
Art Wilson was originally selected but he gave his seat to Lee Stoneking.

Re: Lee Stoneking Addresses UN
Well, Im glad he testified of Gods miraculous healing first hand...I wish he'd have explained or expounded on "why" the world needs Jesus, besides just saying he's the prince of peace(tell'm WHY he's the prince of peace).
I think those that don't know Jesus that are looking for an answer to lifes violence etc, need to know exactly WHY Jesus is the answer to those things.
(Not saying I coulda done any better though!..
I do feel that giving that miraculous testimony does get everyone's curiosity & attention to atleast some degree)
