retch is a correct word... it has to do with up-chucking... maybe you retched when you wrote that...

I was feeling a little puny.

I did look up "retched" to be sure, but I think that the quote actually calls for "wretched."

Howbeit, I think that the two words are related obviously.

Just to clarify .... I was talking totally TIC with that "it's the color that makes the difference" remark.

Tulip is nice although mauve/lilac isn't my favourite color.

LOL. Well, you're right that "retched" wasn't the right word in that context.

When you're retching you feel wretched, no doubt about it!
