I think its a double standard to say its okay to wear a 5000K rock on your finger but to say its wrong for a women to wear a $10 pair of earrings from walmart.. makes absolutely no sense.. if its okay on your finger its okay in the ears around the neck or anywhere else for that matter... and thats my 2 cents..

Some preachers allow the wedding bands because they serve a function and are not purely ornamental much like a wrist-watch.To me it's a matter of personal preference.

I have seen some pretty expensive watches...one friend paid 5000 bucks for hers...I could have built a church for that in some areas...

Some of these things we waste money on will stare us in the eye on judgment day and it will be more than a wedding band...

Once at the leper colony a leper asked me how long our religion had been around since they had been idol worshippers all their lives...
I wonder why we spend so much money on a lot of things???

Thanks for your input Bro. Hutchinson, I want to clarify that I do not wear them, but niether do I condemn anyone for wearing them. I'm just trying to get a better understanding of why certain Apostolic preachers will condemn other Apostolic preachers for wearing them, and does this help the cause of unity? If one Apostolic preacher feels judged by another Apostolic preacher, then who is right?

I preached for a Brother who taught wedding bands and wrist watches ,I didn't wear either while I was that brother's guest.
I do believe in inner and outer Holiness but I'm a little liberal than some here ,but I am not as liberal as some here though.

To me the Bible doesn't really forbid the wearing of gold and metal but most go too far out in it.
I still believe that we should be seperate from the Ungodly in our lifestyles.
But Brothers who lean a bit more to the right of me I do not consider them to be in bondage and I accept them as fellow Christians wheter the feeling is mutual or not.
