No, but the church I was in when I lived in TN was. I lived there and went that church for almost 20 yrs. They have atv program that has been on for about 20 yrs and it started with a radio program. Over that time there have been at least 30-35 families that have came in because of the TV program. Damage, OGIA, not too much if it done right. We did and it brought alot of people. Some of them have become pastors, evangelist. There have been more than 100 people that have came in because of these families.
Sure with too much of anything is not good. But not enough of stuff can hurt too.

I'll have to take your word for it, JT. But, you know, Joel Olstein's church has grown quite a bit, too, over the past few years.
As my pastor says, "I want growth, not swelling. Swelling indicates a problem." I pray the church you speak of is growing and not just swelling.

He would no more flirt with cursing than he could quit coon hunting or preaching holiness.
Read the thread again. There was even a post written that pointed out the incorrect spelling of the word, and he stated: "What I have written, I have written."
IE, it was deliberate, intentional and flirted with calling someone an ___ (you know).
I don't have a problem with what he said. I'll know better though reading his future posts. He preaches holiness and condemns television but flirts with cursing. Nice.

How does that apply to tv? That is talking about a spring of water.
Also, swelling also happens when you got gas. That does not apply to this. Joel Osteen had a big church for years. His dad was there preaching you gotta get the HG and they grew. Joel took over preaching an easy message and they "swelled." All I can tell you that my Bishop there has not eased up at all. Not even close. Infact, being on TV has made firmer on the doctorine and standards. To compare Osteens and the McCool's church is unfair. They are not on equal playing fields.
