Bro. Thurston is 81.

Like Bro. Epley said, these home missionaries are truly unsung heroes. Thurston is one of those. He has given all he has spiritually and financially to the furtherance of the Gospel. Men like these are becoming rarer everyday.

True. And who will replace them when they're gone? I was glad to hear that Bro. Thurston has an assistant. Not many are willing to go and be true home missionaries.

Socali,

You would do well to temper your comparisons of San Diego to North Dakota. I dare say that the flacid numbers posted for the attendance at your assembly are a mere drop in the bucket when compared to the total population of your metro area. Why don't you get out and witness and at least get your church up to 1% of the metro before you start throwing stones.

You have embarrassed yourself in my eyes with your statements regarding the ND district!

HA! If they can FIND a full time job.

This is precisely why bible college is a waste of time for a would-be evangelist or pastor as the first line choice of a degree...if you wanna call it that.
