Hmmm. Interesting. I have never heard of anyone arguing that things absolutely have to happen in the order they are listed in Acts 2:38, other than the fact that no one can receive the Holy Ghost prior to repentance.
I have on other boards and in person. And to be quite frank (and don't call me "Frank"), I am a bit surprised that MORE don't argue for proper chronology.

I am a firm believer in the Old Paths

Articles on such subjects as "The New Birth," will be accepted, whether they teach that the new birth takes place before baptism in water and Spirit, or that the new birth consists of baptism of water and Spirit. - THE PENTECOSTAL HERALD Dec. 1945

At the church that you attend, is every message on what we have coined to be the "plan" of salvation?

It just so happened that standards were preached on when YOU were at those services. That does not mean that it is all that is preached, but maybe the Lord was... No, nvm, I'm not touching that one.

I know what you are implying...I guess that would make it ok then, to preach on it just because one person in attendance needs to hear it? Lets not make any assumptions here Berkley.
