Re: The Seven Holy Spirits of God

So how does "...the Spirit of the Lord, the Spirit of wisdom, and understanding,...", etc.,
interact and for what purpose? If we profess to know God, surely we
should also know at least part of His plan!

Yes, we should

However, this knowledge will not come from the harlot church on earth; only from our Father in Heaven

All(or most of them) of the Seven Spirits of God can be found written in the bible.

Christians just do not want to believe that God has seven Spirits.

That is the bottom line.

And that comes from them being taught in error from their start in Christianity.

Why don't you want to believe that God is a Spirit as Jesus said in John 4, and that Paul agreed with?

"God is a Spirit.." (John 4:24)

"By one Spirit are ye baptized into one body..." (I Cor 12:13)

"There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;" (Eph 4:4)

"...I will pour out my Spirit (singular) upon all flesh.." (Joel 2:28)

Why can't you believe that? Why can't you use good hermeneutics and interpret what you see in Revelation in light of what God had already established about himself in previous passages, that he is one Spirit?

Lively Stone,

Where did you learn about the "spirit of counsel" regarding the tree of the knowledge of good and evil?

Thanks,

Bro. Rafferty

brings up a good point, in that this is a descriptive for God, and other spirits; but we also use the term "spirit" to mean something else--the embodiment of a concept. God is a Spirit, and God has Spirits, iow.

The Father has sent forth a FREE man to first purchase mankind, and to deliver us.
Although we have ALL been bought, not all have submitted to be delivered.

Come out from the harlot, and be saved.
