And likely far less than the "hundreds" which you claim.

Awe, you mad?

I'm fine with you not liking me. Most dishonest people don't like me. You're just upset that you weren't able to intimidate or mock me into "shupping" my mouth and I exposed your dishonesty.

Kick rocks or pound sand, whatever. I don't like dishonest, deceitful people.

I've seen the photos of some compounds with walls, but you post above about walls, yet claim in another posts there are no walls. Which is it?

Do compounds have walls or not? It could even be true that some have walls and others do not.

You said i lied. Go get the lie and expose it or not. I stand by my original statements. If you cannot get it and show it then it never happened.

We established I'm there for sure. Those are the words you ate and swallowed whole. Tell me, what would justify, with all of those types and styles of housing compounds, high rise, fenced, apartment complexes, neighborhoods provided for non-Saudis - highly guarded facilities?

There are some. For sure. I have been here several years and have never been on one. They are not for average expats and not for foreign employees of Saudi companies but there are some foreigners here, Americans even, who live in tightly controlled highly guarded facilities.

Can you guess who maybe would be that well protected?

Now go get my dishonest statements that you exposed. Can you or can't you? Go.

The expat communities? Surrounded by saudi neighborhoods. They are scattered all over. You said there are how many in Riyadh?

Time to summarize - genius.

Established - and you have said most of this yourself. Thanks for the help.

Expats live in communities

These communities range from high rise apartment/condo type to huge sprawling fenced areas the size of a small town to a few units. One in Khobar that I know of has a wall surrounding the entire community area.

This was established by photos exampling some different types and locations. Acknowledge that or not.

The communities are scattered all over Saudi Arabia. There is no disagreement on number of expats (millions) because this is public information. Only to fit your model there just MUST be only a few communities because the number of communities and number of homes in these communities sets the number of possible places of free and unfettered worship. If I am right there are hundreds of gathering places available. If you are right then there are fewer gathering places but that does not change the number of homes at all.

Numbers aside (you are wrong about number of communities) you have acknowledged that worship is allowed in these communities and that these communities are guarded against entry by outsiders, thus establishing that all activities there, religious or not, are protected

You have acknowledged that Expats can worship and hold services in these communities and that even the Muttawa are prohibited from entering them. (Actually minus proper ID everyone else is prohibited as well)

You have been provided with information on these communities. That information includes facilities there. Those facilities range from community center to gyms to theatres, which are by the way are also banned for saudis but not for expats.

These facilities are for expat use. If expats wish, they can play poker, hold seances, or have church services. Whatever they do, they are unbothered and what they do is protected.

Which is what i said and the ONLY thing I said which was "your christian colleagues may hold church here and a building is provided for them to do it and they are unbothered". The rest of what you imagined I said was made up, therefore if you state that I said it, then you are lying.

Thanks for validating this. ONE of us could have saved a lot of time.

And (likely)? LOL "likely?" far less than the "hundreds" which you claim.

Nah, you're there. I'm sure you've seen them.
Fixed your post and that's what I said.

Now you go get where I said or implied anything else. Failure to do so brands you a liar and validates the above.

You ate those "not there" words whole didn't you? Told you that you would regret that one.

Re: Happy Birthday, President Reagan

Walks In Islam, if a Saudi man converts and becomes a Christian, what will likely happen to him (assuming he remains in SA)?

Can he share his testimony with others? Suppose he and a few other Christian men gather regularly for prayer and study of the Bible, would they be breaking the law and risking serious trouble?

I do not know the ins and outs of Saudi law as applied to Saudis but I suspect that outside of personal religious practice this would be a very serious legal issue. Remember - i am from Texas and this discussion started with a question comparing living here or there and this discussion is about your christian colleages who choose here.

Tolerance is not a welcome embrace and freedom to practice ones faith here and provision of facilities to do it is NOT NOT NOT freedom to push it or spread it.
