That vote is going to almost exactly mirror the margin by which the TV resolution is going down to defeat in Tampa in a few months!

I'm in the glory land way, I'm in the gloryland way.....

Over and over and over and over.

I had a number of PM's and phone calls...and my phone DIED last night. So, I am just gonna mention text's I received and questions that have been asked:

1) From what I am hearing, the formation of the SoCal district is not DEAD. Apparerntly, the matter goes back to the General Board. The General Board has final say (?) in the matter and could still approve the So Cal District. I would say, the General Board is in favor of this happening...as they have already given their nod of approval. The hope is still there that the SoCal District will go ahead.

2) I don't know why the vote would have ended like I did. I have my own speculations...but will leave that to myself. I had a question about what does the formation of the new district benefit a certain group of people. I would just point out that there is a higher degree of moderates/conservatives living in the Southern part of California as compared to the Central and Northern part (where conservatives to Ultra Conservatives are in higher numbers).

3) Geographically, it just does not any sense for the district to be this big. They are already complaining about attendance for their meetings being low...however, when you look at 10-12 hour driving times (from Eureka to Santa Maria) it does not take a rocket scientist to figure this out.

I am sure there will be more discussion. Bro. Mullings, outgoing District Superintendent, spoke last night at the Conference Service. Have not heard a report thus far.

Prrrrraise the LORD saints of the most high
well im finally home from the WD Conference and Man im tired!
The conference is actually Not over, there are business meetings all day but no night services.
ABOUT THE DISTRICT SPLITTING.....
as it was mentioned, even though it was voted against, that vote was only a recomendation. HeadQs makes the final dicision and they have already made it clear that they are going to okay it. also, the southern CA. preachers are going to have their own vote and they are united for it.
also, i talked to the New YOuth President and he was asking me about convention centers in our area. He is also certain that it will still go through so he is preparing for a N.CA youth convention.

Dan Butler seems to be the name that most think will win.

I am thrilled that AA won(for more reasons then I will post) and Boy! was it a close call! everyone was on pins and needles. AND after the election, the group that didn't win, walked out and never returned to the next meetings or services. there was buzz about that too

I did all the music including the Ladies service which was kind of hilarious. SSis butler sung and gave her testimony too.
the choir did good they sung that song " I AM and " I'm A pentecostal" the one Than Haney wrote about shouting my hairDo down and rolling on the ground... LOL
A big group of my church came last night. It was so funny to see all these black folks come in, they wasn't expecting to a Sea of lilly white faces haha!and the services are a lot more stiff and structured then what they are use to. of course, it was basically a business conference and I've been to them before so I wasn't surprised.
OH!! and I met Praxeas' pastor last night lol ~!
